Eastern Washington University of Bellevue alum and Seattle based recruiter, Anna Stivers, was honored to be a key note speaker for the Children’s Studies seniors this past weekend. The soon-to-be graduates celebrated their success during a portfolio presentation ceremony where each senior presented highlights of their learning.
Anna shared her experiences post-graduation and encouraged students to stay motivated, surround themselves with positive people, and never stop networking. She discussed what it takes to be a Nanny League nanny, the benefits of joining our agency and how pursuing a career as a nanny is rewarding on multiples levels!

A heartwarming pledge was spoken by all in the room; a promise to support the learning, development and care of children and their families. After the pledge, Barbara Culler, Children’s Studies program director and Deanna Trella, Children’s Studies Director congratulated each student as they presented cords for graduation. The red cords are specifically for Children’s Studies graduates and double as jump ropes- how smart!
Congratulations to all, we are thrilled to have been a part of this special day and for the continued partnership with local universities like Eastern Washington, to provide excellent care and support for children and their families .
