TNL Mandates Child Sexual Abuse Training

This past October 2017, The Nanny League & Bianchi Productions raised thousands of dollars for Stop the Silence®: Stop Child Sexual Abuse, Inc. (Stop the Silence®) at our Mommy’s Night Out event held at We Village in Sherman Oaks. Celebrities and local influencers came out to support the event including: Amy Davidson (8 Simple Rules,) television host Maria Sansone (Good Day LA, Fox11), Willa Ford, Mary McCusker, Jamie Stout, Jessica Hall, Samantha Gudstadt, Chudney Ross, Carly Anderson, Mrs. Kathy King, Kathy Copcutt, and more. The event featured pampering from Bordeaux Beauty, Hair Me Roar mobile salon and Royal Treatment Wellness. Guests enjoyed cocktails and small bites from Kensington Caterers, had the opportunity to shop clothing by Bird & Vine and jewelry by Robyn Rhodes, and had fun with Flipbooth LA. Mommy Tonk rocked the stage while guests participated in a silent auction that included donated items by America’s Got Talent, Calabasas Country Club, Classic Kids Photography, Coomi, Hollywood Dolls Salon, Kristina Hallberg RDN, Kumon Math & Reading Center, Roam Travel, Brzee Healing, SubtleTEE Society, Today Show, Vintage Beauty Bar & Yoga Works and more. Now, The Nanny League continues to raise funds for Stop the Silence® through our online nanny training program that educates nannies on Child Sexual Abuse prevention and mitigation. For only $39.95 per person, the training provides nannies with an overview on the issue of CSA & trafficking: what it is, what it does, how nannies can prevent it, how they can detect problem, and how they can report it. The more people who take the training, the more it will help fund other comprehensive programming worldwide. All proceeds go directly to Stop the Silence® and are tax deductible. Please visit our Philanthropy page on how you can register for this very important training!

Thank you for your continued support!

Child sexual abuse (CSA) is occurring in pandemic proportions and includes actions from voyeurism to rape. It usually happens over an extended period of time by someone close to the child. There are at least 42 million adult survivors in U.S., and, given the often grave physical and psychological trauma, it is affecting not only individuals but societies.

Stop the Silence®: Stop Child Sexual Abuse, Inc. (Stop the Silence®), is a non-profit, charitable 501(c) 3 organization that works to expose and stop child sexual abuse and help survivors heal worldwide. They work to address the relationships between child sexual abuse and the broader issues of overall family and community violence, and violence within and between communities.
